Cell Experiments
In this activity, you'll learn about how fluids move through
other fluids in a process called diffusion, and you'll discover how the
cell membrane works to keep some molecules inside the cell and other molecules
out.
Objectives:
Define the terms "diffusion," "cell
membrane," and "semipermeable"
Observe water-soluble ink diffusing into water
Observe the semipermeable nature of a membrane
using iodine and a freezer bag
