A Field Trip for Teachers
Sponsored by the Springfield Greene County Interpreters Coalition
We
will visit various educational sites located throughout Springfield.
See for yourself what educational enrichment experiences exist in
and around the city. You’ll be shuttled about town in an
air-conditioned bus provided by City Utilities. Demonstrations,
field trip reservation
information, and curriculum connections will be provided. In addition,
participants will receive goodie bags, giveaways, door prizes,
continental breakfast, lunch, and a wrap-up reception. You’ll
also have the chance to network with various fellow educators and
staff from the educational sites. Register today, and take the guess-work
out of planning this year’s field trip!
Due
to the fact that we have had such great response and have had
to
turn many educators away each year, the registration guidelines
for the event are as follows:
-
Priority will be given to first-time participants
-
Registration is limited to 2 teachers per school site.
-
This event is best suited to K-12 classroom teachers who are responsible
for teaching core curriculum, and who schedule and organize classroom
field trips.
2008 Registration Opens April 25th. We
encourage you to register early, as the event always fills quickly.
