Qualifications:
Eligible scholarship participants must be at or below 125% of the federal poverty line. Eligibility can be determined at either a monthly or annual income:

Applicants will need to complete an intake assessment with the OACAC Neighborhood Center. Please contact Sara Villines at svillines@oac.ac at 417-873-3370 for more information. All questions regarding program eligibility should be directed to OACAC and not the Discovery Center; the Discovery Center does not determine and cannot answer questions regarding program eligibility.
This project/program is funded 100% at $315,250 with federal funds received from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services provided by the Missouri Department of Social Services.
I understand that submitting an approval form is not a guarantee of my enrollment in the educational programming at the Discovery Center. I understand it is a determination of income eligibility and that I must contact staff at the Discovery Center of Springfield to complete the process for a determination regarding enrollment. I understand that if I do not complete the process as specified by either OACAC or the Discovery Center of Springfield that my application for assistance under this partnership will be null and void. I understand that the Discovery Center of Springfield staff retain the right to refuse enrollment based on their educational programming criteria.
