Chinese New Year

February 7th

Join us as we celebrate the Year of the Monkey. We'll have Chinese Musical Instrument Demonstrations, Traditional Chinese Games like Tangrams, a Dragon Dance, and many more activities.

All included with general admission.

Dissection Workshop: Sheep Heart

February 13th
10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm

Valerie, our newest educator, will guide parent and child duos through the dissection of a sheep heart. Participants will get the inside scoop on the anatomy and function of the circulatory system's power center.

Science Sprouts: Taste, Swallow, Chew: All The Things My Mouth Can Do!

Story and Demo Times 10am and 1pm

Don't miss the last Science Sprouts day of the season. Jordan Valley Community Health Center will be here with special demonstrations all about the amazing things your mouth does!

Activities are included with general admission.

Science Sprouts Days are designed for children ages 6 and under. You and your child will have the opportunity to explore the Discovery Center with other budding scientists.

Seuss Science Day

The Cat in the Hat is coming back! Ozarks Public Television's #SeussScience Day is full of special activities. We'll have science demonstrations, Seuss story times, and a chance to get your picture taken with the Cat in the Hat himself.

Discounted admission of $7, Members Free
