SHIPWRECK! Pirates & Treasure

From February 20th-May 8th DCS will have a special traveling exhibit. Find out what it's like to be a shipwreck explorer, the captain of a sinking ship or a pirate on the run with hands-on activities including a robotic arm to pick up treasure and a hurricane simulator to challenge the storm. Discover more than 500 priceless artifacts from famous shipwrecks including real gold and silver treasure recovered from thousands of feet deep.

Ticket Prices: Members $3, Non-Members $5 with general admission

Earth Day

Make it rain at DCS! Learn about the wonderful water cycle with hands on activities and story times.

Parent/Child Duo Shark Dissection

Saturday, April 30
1pm-3pm
$40 per duo for members/$45 per duo for nonmembers
Ages 7+

Take a deep breath and dive in with us as we explore the lives of this often misunderstood ocean creature. Parent/Child Duos will learn the basic anatomy, discuss shark conservation, learn the shark's place in the food web and more. Participants will be dissecting a dogfish shark.

Talk Like a Pirate Day

Saturday, April 30
9am-5pm
 
See SHIPWRECK! before it sets sail to its next destination. Each person dressed like a pirate will receive $2.00 off general admission. We'll have pirate face painting from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm and prize giveaways! It is sure to be fun for buccaneers of all ages. SHIPWRECK!special exhibit admission is $3 for members and $5 for nonmembers.

Mother's Day

Sunday, May 8th.

Mothers and Grandmothers receive FREE general admission to DCS.

Memorial Day

DCS will be OPEN on Monday, May 30th from 9am-5pm.
