The ScienceSource is a great tool for educators. The following contents are designed to help you access the Internet and locate helpful community resources:
- Lab Activities: Lab activities are designed to be downloaded and used in the classroom or at home. Each is aligned with the Missouri Frameworks for Curriculum Development and many can be completed with common household materials.
- Interactives: Interactives are online activities that you can do right at the computer; each is selected to help students understand and relate what they are studying to the real world.
- Resources: Resources are designed to help enrich the learning experience. They include outreach programs, field trip sites, library resources, and links of interest.
The ScienceSource is updated frequently, and we welcome ideas and suggestions. If you have something you'd like to share, are looking for a specific activity, or need help with a particular topic, please email us!
Development of the ScienceSource was funded by a grant from The Institute of Museum and Library Services, a federal agency that fosters innovation, leadership, and a lifetime of learning.
Space Education: Space education is a very comprehensive collection of links from a variety of resources all in one place. From facts about being an astronaut and the solar system to a history of the space shuttle program, there are resources for helping students learn more about the wide variety of options that exist in learning about astronomy topics!
