Our most popular member event is back! Learn about global winter holidays and watch the Springfield Christmas parade from our indoor viewing party. Science Sprouts: Frosty Fairytale Festival 
Friday, December 15 at 10:00 am with Mommy Mingle at 9:00 am

Come one, come all to the Fairytale Festival as we learn the science of snow on Friday, December 15. Mommy Mingle starts at 9:00 with free coffee in our Wonderland exhibit with the festival activities to follow at 10:00 am. Fairytale costumes are encouraged but not required. Parent/Child Duo Workshop: Build a Robot

Noon Year's Eve-ish: Science of the Seventies
Saturday, December 30 from 9:30 am-12:30 pm

We’re bringing you the skinny on our most far out event of the year. Come dig the groovy vibes and disco dance all morning long at this year’s Noon Year’s Eve-ish: Science of the Seventies on Saturday, December 30 from 9:30 am-12:30 pm. Make a disco ball, befriend a pet rock, learn about the science of lava lamps and more, all before we count down to noon with a balloon drop. All activities are free with the cost of admission.
