Explore 60,000 square feet of exhibits, explosive hand-on experiments, and food and drinks from the hottest restaurants and vendors, which is all included with your ticket!
The best part, other than an amazing time out in downtown Springfield, is we’re raising funds to help students in need experience inspiring hands-on learning at no cost to their families. Night at the Museum attire is date night or business casual–you’ll want to wear comfortable shoes so you can experience all of our activities!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This is an adults-only event. All guests must be 21 years or older.
What safety precautions are you taking?
The safety of our staff and guests will always remain our top priority. As Springfield’s #1 facility with over 100,000 hours in COVID childcare, we are implimenting the same groundbreaking techniques used during our emergency childcare to make sure you have the best night out. We’re limiting the total attendance, enforcing limits in galleries and at exhibits, and creating separate eating areas for eating and drinking.. Please note that masks will be required when entering the museum.
How did you come up with your safety precautions?
We know that you want to respect our team as much as we want them to show you and your family respect, and because we’re a science center, we’re following the best scientific evidence available to us. The current data tells us that masks likely prevent the spread of viruses like COVID-19. We are requiring masking for all of our visitors who are 3 years of age or older. We’re also requiring our team members and volunteers working the event to wear a mask to protect you all the best way we know how. You are welcome and encouraged to bring your own mask, but we will also have paper masks available for purchase at check in.
You will be required to sanitize your hands at our lobby sanitization station and will get a quick, no-touch temperature check before entering the Center. All of our staff and volunteers are required to wear masks at all times and will have their temperatures checked when reporting to work. Staff experiencing any sign of illness will not be allowed to report to work.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Guests may park in the parking lot to the East of the Discovery Center (parking lot facing the front of the building). When the parking lot is full, guests are encouraged to find street parking on McDaniel and St. Louis Street.
